To venture forward into the great chasm of knowledge without having an inclination as to our destination may be our greatest choice as human beings. To decide to learn is the greatest step towards self-mastery one can take. That we have the ability to learn, and raise ourselves out of ignorance is a sublime, beautiful gift from a creator whose origins are unperceivable and almost irrational. Perhaps Nature is our creator, or something else.
